pure sweetness.

We captured this little beauty’s sweet, pure innocence at 10 days old, and what an angel she was for the session, as you can see ;) !

Again, i love so many aspects of this job, one being meeting people.  Really, i meet the best people.  This family was so welcoming and i just felt so comfy with them!  Thank you so much for inviting me to capture these moments of your gorgeous baby girl and for making me feel at home!  I truly hope you love your photos and over the years they will provide you with only the best memories!

three.

Last year i photographed this little guy for his 2nd birthday!  You might remember, popping popcorn, squeezing lemons for fresh lemonade and going sliding outside, you can see the post on my old blog here!

He’s 3 now!  I know, where does the time go?  Seriously.  Another afternoon spent painting, dancing and exploring.  Even though he wasn’t feeling the greatest, we got some memorable shots.  Normally we try to make the conditions ideal, ie. making sure the children are not hungry, tired or sick, but sometimes you just have to work with it.  We had been trying to connect for quite a while, so we just made it work when the time for the session finally came, and this is a few of what we ended up with!_MG_9017A_MG_9018_MG_9039_MG_9056

mountains.

I know it is still supposed to be winter, but I’m not a big fan of the cold. I think the snow is beautiful, but LOVE heat. So, needless to say, i’m pretty OK with the beautiful, sunny, warm weather we have been having for the last few weeks!

This gorgeous bride loves the beauty of nature, so the background of the mountains was perfect. Another nice day, but the pleasure of snow made the scenery spectacular! I was sooooo excited when she announced that she wanted her engagement session to be in the mountains. Although the wind was pretty cold coming off the lake and we think there may have been a touch of frostbite that came out of it… this couple was amazing; fun, and very photogenic!

Thanks for the fun and allowing me to capture this special time for you! I’m so excited about your wedding in a couple weeks!

bond.

I know first hand the bond a mom shares with her children.  Not that we love them anymore than our boys, but the mother / daughter bond just seems so strong.  I could see it here with this beautiful woman and her gorgeous daughter.  This was a session that included so many different aspects.  Starting off a glamour session with mom (before the kids came home from school), then we captured the sweet innocence of her little girl as soon as she came home from school.  Then some of mom and her, and more glamour outside.

I can’t say it enough, how special it is to capture these moments.  They will now have these images to look back on, with fond memories as to what they looked like, what they felt like, just bringing them back to that connection… long after the little girl is grown and embarking on life adventures of her own.

These images are just a select few of all the shots we got, i really had a super hard time narrowing it down.  So this is what you get!  Enjoy!
